Shine effect using Photoshop
Hi guys.
Do any of you know how to create this particular shine effect using Photoshop 7. See attachement. Maybe there's a tutorial out there or something. Thanks. |

Filter Menu/Blur/Radial Blur then choose Zoom at around 50% to 100%

Hey, thanks for the answer.
Just one thing, to what particular image do i apply this effect. I tried to apply it to a stroke i made surrounding the circular image (speaker), but it didn't came out the way i wanted. Thanks again. |

Oops! Sorry about that. Try this-
1. Create a stroked circle on an empty layer: Step 1-Stroked Circle 2. Then apply the Filter Menu/Distort/Wave filter on the stroked circle (try setting it to square with a LOW amplitude. You may have to trial and error it a bit). Wave Filter Settings that worked for me. After Applying Wave Filter 3. Apply Filter Menu/Blur/Radial blur (I had to do it twice!): Step 3-After 2 Radial Blurs 4. Put this layer over your image, and apply one of the Layer Blending Modes (Overlay or Soft Light works well). Hope that helps!
