    Sorry for the n00b question...


    Hey guys I'm trying my best to replicate the font w/ the outline in photoshop but I really can't seem to get it right at all. I was hoping someone might have some pointers?

    I cant seem to post a link since im a newbie but if you google

    pc-tek-it ebay im trying to figure out how they do their fonts

    I appreciate your help on this guys! Thanks! I'm using CS6 on a macbook air.

    If you mean you want to add an outline to your text, you should:
    1. Go to the "Layers" tab
    2. Select the text layer
    3. Click the "fx" button below
    4. Choose "Stroke"
    5. Configure the outline's color, size, etc.


    If I found the right images you were referring to, they also apply a semi 3D effect to their text. To achieve that you should choose the "Bevel and Emboss" option from the "fx" menu.
