Subtracting paths from shape (photoshop beginner)
Hello all, two questions:
I have a .svg file which I opened in Illustrator and copy pasted into Photoshop. I selected paste as path because I thought this would be the best way to retain the quality of the lines.
1) What I would like to do is draw a rectangle and then subtract the path from it, leaving a hole in the rectangle where the shape of the path would have been? I've tried a number of ways but haven't got far. Any thought?
2) If I have a path, is it possible to make the lines of the path thicker and change the colour?
Many thanks in advance!
(I'm using Photoshop CS2 btw.)
