Text in chrome
I am learning to use the trial version of photoshop. Anyone know how to get the text to look like chrome? From the color pallette I see, I just see greys and sivers.

In 7.0 you can go to Window, Color then there should be 3 tabs. Last one is Styles. There should be lots to choose from.

Thanks to you, I have located the satin chrome look. The top of the text looks like chrome, but the bottom has another color shine to it. Any way to make it all chrome? BTW I imported about 15 new fonts, and put them in with the rest of them. Same format as the rest of the fonts too. But whenever I go to choose a font, the new fonts dont show up. Any other way to browse to find them? All fonts in my folder say their ttf images. I can explore and browse and see them in my font folder, but they dont show when I browse fonts in photoshop.

Not sure about importing fonts.
Also i didnt mention it cause im not sure if the trial would have it. But you can do some REALLY good realistic crome with words (well can be shapes and such too). Im tired and dont really want to type it out so here is a link to a pretty good tutorial on the subject. http://www.spoono.com/photoshop/tut...orial.php?id=21 I have done many letters and even some pictures of lizards (simplified BIG time) using those or similar to those steps. Good Luck |
