Text In Photoshop 7
Howdy all was wondering if you could help me with a photo I was editing. I had entered some text onto the photo which had been put in as 2 seperate layers in addition to the background. I then saved the photo. Problem is I actually need different text in there and the image now appears to be locked...I can't see anyway to get the 2 layers of text back so that I can edit them...does anyone have any ideas?

if you saved over the original image, you're pretty much hosed. this should prove a very valuable lesson *NEVER SAVE OVER THE ORIGINAL IMAGE*. as soon as you get the idea in your head you want to do something to an image, make a copy and work off that.

If you saved them in a format other than PSD or TIFF (to some extent) chances are you're screwed. JPEG's don't support layers, so you've replaced the original info with the text. |
