transparency

How to I save an image so that when I open it up in flash mx the parts that were transparent are still transparent?

You have three options: GIF, PNG and EPS.

I would recommend using an EPS as these retain the most data, have the least amount of lossiness and do not require matting.

i have saved images in gif, eps and png but when I re open them - the transparent parts are white!!!

Why?
