Trouble editing over network
On my Windows PC, I am having a strange issue when trying to edit a photo ( between 35 and 45 megs) with photoshop over the network. The smae pic works if I download the image onto my dekstop and edit it from there, but if I try to edit it over the network, odd things happen. It has shut down photoshop, and once it even rebooted my computer. Any ideas on what the cause of this may be? My network admins seemed stumped as well.

Might be a problem with your network card and/or cable more than photoshop, have you had similar problems in other software using BIG files? (photoshop is pretty space hungry).
Have you tried working the file on a different PC connected on the same network? |
