trouble with brightness and contrast
Ok heres the problome I add a noise filter too the whole pic and then do brightness and contrast,the preview looks alright, press ok and the noise dosent change at all

what do you mean the noise doesn't change? Do you mean that you use the Noise Filter, then you try and change the brightness and contrast, and then the noise doesn't change to what you see in the preview?

Increase the noise level ratio. Something changing the contrast can lighten the noise (if it is very little to begin with).

Try to provide a screenshot in your problem. This is a graphics related category that's why a proof of evidence, or picture, is the best way to deal with each other problems.
Always remember that the preview in some of the filters in Photoshop doesn't always come up with the right output. Wait, what's the status of your Layer Bar? |

Do your contrast and brightness layers first, then flatten that layer down and then add noise, otherwise if you are only adding a tiny bit of noise you'll loose it all if you up the contrast.
