using arabic text in Pshop (not ME)

Anyone know how to use Arabic text in standard edition Photoshop?

I am making gifs in a myriad of languages, and the Arabic script I paste in does not preserve the right-to-left format, or the relationship between letters within words - thus 'breaking up' the words (I'm told by Arabic-reading colleague) I have the fonts for this as it is dislayed perfectly in Excel - where I am pasting it from

many thanks....
