I work in rgb until I'm finished with my project. Then I convert it to CMYK and check/fix the differences.
The computer has to work harder to constantly convert your RGB to CMYK on your screen, so it's best to do it later on. hth, animgirl |

You can see how your image will look as CMYK at any time without changing the mode by pushing Cmd- or Ctrl-Y. This previews your image in your proof colors, which is CMYK by default.
