Will I ever succeed to make logo like this

Hi,
I know you are all sick of this kind of questions but I dont know where elese can i post this..
Can anyone point me at some kind of tutorial for making this kind of logo.
How can i make image ( look like a vector graphic ) of paper looking crumpled,with frazzle,torn
out edges with a little shadow...and add text with just the right shadow of spill paper...

Is that what you want it to look like or is that what you have done so far??

After going through tutorials after tutorials saying, "old style photos", "grunge pictures" etc etc I got bored so I ripped up a few pieces of paper, screwed some up and burnt some and then put them into my scanner and took some photos of some of them.

Now you have proper pieces of paper that you can work with and make realistic effects from it.

Take a look at that, the picture of the girl was put on using photoshop to one of the blank pieces of paper I scanned in.
