How much do you charge for graphic designs?
I have opened a new business over the past month, I am a graphic and website designer.
I have been charging around £3-5 per logo/banner and have been getting a high volume of customers lately. I do not have the slightest clue on how much to charge people.
Could anyone give me any advice on what you all charge for a logo, banner etc?

I don't personally create graphic designs commercially. A friend of mine does and charges around $1000 AU for a logo.
This does include researching the company, researching the companies competitors and creating a logo that aligns with the companies marketing strategy.
Obviously the more value you add the more you can charge. If someone told me that they only charged 3-5 pounds for a logo I would assume that they were very inexperienced and that the quality of work must be very poor.
You should charge more.

We charge £550 per day.
Its all down to time constraints. If you clients want fixed fees then you have to limit the time they can soak up with their change requests.
Typical costs are:
Quick logo design - 550
Web design (no build) - 2000
Wordpress web design - from 4000
flyer design - 275
brochure design - from 2000
stationery - 550
brand development inc research - from 2000
Why not pretend your a new customer, call local competitors and ask for quotes? this will give you an idea of how not to be taken advantage of.

I think as a beginner the price that you mentioned is not bad but when you will be in expert level, you should charge according to your quality and time to spend to do that job. Good Luck.

There are lots of things you can consider when figuring how much you can charge. One of it is the difficulty of the logo or its quality.

That's a bit too cheap.
However, if you're looking to build a portfolio, that's the way to go.
Once you establish yourself, increase the prices by quite a bit.
