    Absolete functions


    is there any program that can read through php files and find compatibility problems with functions. I have some old code and we are migrating to 5.2.17 and would like to find out in advance what has to be changed.

    The most effective way is to upgrade your dev or QA box and see what breaks. I don't know of a code scanner off hand, but I'm sure there was one

    a hard way would be to create a script, go through your php files and find any functions that are obselete..
