Unzip PHPTriad and run the setup. It will install the whole works into C:apache. If you need it in a different place, don't use it. After installing, you start MySQL and Apache from the start menu items and load http://localhost. If you see anything other than an error, it works. Put your scripts in c:apachehtdocs and access them using http://localhost/directory/filename.php. If you need more info, let me know.

Argh, I am assuming http://localhost/directory/filname.php was just an examplpe.. because it says it cant find http://localhost/directory.. and I type in a thousand different addressed to try to get to my php script but it still says not found...

So when I put it in htdocs, where should the file appear?

If you put it in htdocs it will be at http://localhost/*

Any directories you make in htdocs will be http://localhost/directory/

If you look in htdocs, the index.php file which is what comes up when you install, is addressable at http://localhost/index.php.
