Hi all,

It probably has been asked several times before and I posted this in the Apache newsgroup as well, but I can't seem to get is all done.

I installed Apache (1.3.12 If I'm correct) and it's working. I installed PHP 3 and when I execute a script from my explorer I get the right output, but when I do a request form my browser it starts downloading the file.

I added the scriptalias, Addtype and AddHandler to the httpd.conf, but I don't know what to do anymore

Can somebody help me.
BR Bas

If Apache is working okay (there's a start page whenever you type localhost in the address line, isn't there?), then you only need to configure PHP to work with it. You should have configured php3.ini file that goes into Windows dir, and add type to httpd.conf. If you did all this, I can e-mail you conf scripts - write me at stanis@sibfair.nsk.su

Thanks for your reply, but fortunately I got it working yesterday. I had configured everything right, but I was not thinking clearly.

I wanted to use SSI with PHP, but hadn't heard of the include() function in PHP, so I added the

AddHandles server-parsed .php3 to my httpd.conf

When I removed this everything worked fine

Thanks Bas
