I've seen this alot in MySQL statemements, and I'm wondering what it means (The PHP book I read never explained it).

    CONCAT(somethingorother)

No big hurry, just wondering what that does and what it means. Thanks!

    CONCAT(string1,string2[,string3,...])

Returns the string formed by joining together all of the supplied arguments.

    Excel has the same function.

    Its short for concatenate.

    So CONCAT('Hello',' ','World!') returns
    Hello World
