    Everyone:

    I've got Xitami + PHP3 + Win95 working fine. When I try mysql_connect("localhost", "root", ""); I get a "Call to unsupport or undefined function mysql_connect()" error message.

    I've started mysqld and I can go into mysql fine. I've edited php3.ini to enable extension=php3_mysql.dll and php3_mysql.dll is in my chp3 directory. What else is needed to get mySQL working with PHP3?

    Thanks for the help.

    Sincerely,
    Dale Williams

    Hi,

    insert the

    phpinfo();

    in your source and open the page ...

    in the PHP-Information must be a section for MySQL-Support, otherwise there is an PHP3-configuration-error.

    I solved my problem. I was trying to use PHP v3.0.11. When I installed PHP v3.0.14 everything worked fine.
