Lets say i were to click on a link to a poll. The webmaster wants to keep me from voting a second time. Is there a way to make a link change after the person clicks. And, then after a person clicks on that link, to a poll, it changes and says: Sorry, you already voted, (link)View the current results9(/link). What tag would i use for this function?

    Sean,

You will have to check the users 'remote address'(ie, $REMOTE_ADDR variable)for this.when the user clicks vote button you should save his remote address and time in your database. If he try to click again on the poll button ,your program should check wether this remote address is already exist in your database.if it is their then you can display the message "Sorry, you already voted".other wise he should be able to cast his vote.

i hope you understand what i am saying...
