Question CHM Thingy
Hi all

I visited the PHP homepage today and found a intresting new news post, titled => New Windows Help Features Under Development.

Well, I checked it out and so on. But I missed one simple thing. What is CHM?

'cause I thought the post was about the PHP Manual, in general. Anybody wanna shed some light on the subject?

CHM is Compiled HTML, the standard for Windows Help files. The PHP manual is available in this format.(IMO, the best format)

I see, thanks for the info. But as a result from your answer, I came up with another question. What's this IMO, that you mentioned?

A common Internet abbreviation, meaning "in my opinion".

Btw, you can get the program for making your own CHMs and decompiling other ppl's files from MS. It's cool.

I hate www.microsoft.com and their <offensive> search function!

Anyway, here it is (HTML Help Workshop):

Just write your online help like a homepage, then put it all into Help Workshop, set some options and tell it to compile. CHMs are cool - an exceptionally good idea from MS.
