    I am trying to create an easy tree-like directory listing at the top of my pages (think yahoo) so people can easily move backwards. However I am having a hard time coming up w/ an elegant solution...right now I'm kinda brute forcing it, I have a var called $show_path this takes this default value from an include() ed file:

    $show_path = "<a href="http://www.eternityproductions.com">Eternity Productions</a>";

    then on a sub page I am doing this:

    $show_path .= "&nbsp;>&nbsp;<a href="...">subpage</a>";

    however, the inc file is included on every page, so that appendation is wiped out on subsequent reloads...so when you get several pages down the tree you end up w/ a massive append that reflects all the other branches. Does that make sense? Is there any way to keep the var going from one page to another? Or am I stuck in append land?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry, I don't have an answer, but a question.. Is the forum on your site a custom
    build, or did you obtain it from somewhere?
