    Creating database by Doctorine 2

    Hi everybody,

Nowadays, I am trying to understand using doctrine and zend together.
However, I am struggling to create database via doctrine.
I can launch database connection between zend and mysql but I am not sure how to utilize from doctrine 2.
I searched a lot to find solution but could not find any guidelines for the beginners.
Can anyone please explain or send any efficient resources about creating database with doctrine 2?

    Kind regards

I don't use it, but there is a php open-source application called partkeepr that uses doctorine. You could download the app and look over their code to maybe get some ideas on the use.

You would need to run a raw query to create a database, but there aren't too many reasons to do that inside an application or to even give that application the permissions to create dbs save for some sort of install/setup process. You would bypass Doctrine in this case and run the query directly from the db connection it uses.
