Hi!
I'm working on my own forum and I have run inot one problem I can't find solution for. How do I know which post is a new on and how do I know if forum has new posts in it? Just like this forum shows you new and hot posts...
I was thinking about useing cookies, but I don't know how to use them (i mean I know how to use SetCookie but i don't know where to use it). The idea was to store a cookie containing time of the last thread update. It works pretty much to detirmine which thread has new posts, but in future, with 1000s of thread, cookie base won't handle it nice...
any suggestions? PLEASE!!!
