    Downgrade From PHP 7 On RedHat

    Hi;

    I got php 7 on this server. I need to downgrade to earlier verion of php (5.6).

    This is the system info:

    Code:
    [ec2-user@ip-10-******* ~]$ uname -a
    Linux ip-10-******* 4.9.*******1.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jun 22 06:20:54 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    [ec2-user@ip-10-229-144-89 ~]$ cat /proc/version
    Linux version 4.9.*******amzn1.x86_64 (mockbuild@gobi-build-64010) (gcc version 4.8.3 20140911 (Red Hat 4.8.3-9) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Thu Jun 22 06:20:54 UTC 2017
    I got SSH with terminal.

    What would be the proper way of doing it?

    Thanks

    Also not Apache.

    Uninstall everything PHP 7, reinstall everything PHP 5.6. If the default repos don't have 5.6 then you'll need to find external ones - I think remy has ones for RHEL.

    Interesting. The default for CentOS 7 *is* 5.6, I had to use remi to get 7.

    But why 5.6?
