File Body Search utility

Hello,

I am currently working on a site and I am looking for a file body search utility. At the moment I can do text files ect but want to allow it to search the body off office documents and powerpoint presentations as well. Can anyone suggest any utility's for this?

If you're running on a Windows server, and with MS Office installed on that server, you can use COM

Otherwise, you'll need to find libraries that support reading these proprietary file formats.

An alternative might be command line queries using Open Office or similar tools
