    Hello,

I've tried to write a script to upload files. I'm using redhat and php3. I'm receiving the followind error:

Warning: Unable to create '/usr/local/apache/htdocs/rex/admin/test/html40.zip': Permission denied in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/rex/admin/test/test.php3 on line 40

What rights should i set ? I've tried all the combinations for owners and rights but it doesn't work....

Can anybody help me ? Thank you very much...

The directory must be writable and readable by all. Did you already try: chmod 777?

another thing to watch out for is who the owner of the file is. i was doing something similar and it kept being owned by "nobody"
