    header( "Content-Type: application/octet-stream" );
    header( "Content-Disposition: filename=test.exe" );

    Works in IE & NS if you use HTTP. If you use HTTPS, it only work in NS. IE seems to work in the beginning, but after choosing "Save As" (or "Open") I get an generic error. Any ideas?

    Secure Layers are very picky about what they let happen. I'm surprised it even worked in NS.

    But I can't help.

    Yeah, it's very odd. Maybe it's a NS security failure. Seems odd though. It's either a IE or NS fault...
