    Hello there,

I'm one of the countless developers working on a PHP-based forum, and I've got a few questions that hopefully someone will be able to help me with.

The project is well on its way to a release sometime this month. However I'm still undecided on the issue of freely available source versus a commercial release. I'm less than thrilled over the prospect of having someone take my code and distribute it as something else, but I would like to propogate the forum none the less. So I was wondering whether or not GPL could be applied to a PHP script (and prevent people from commercially redistributing the code), or whether there was an alternative designed to protect scripts particularly.

Thanks for your time, and while I'm at it, I might as well plug my board =)

Help with a script name would be great, as would any feature requests. Thanks in advance!
