    Is there anyway to find out the referring page through PHP to dynamically create a "back" button on any page within a site???

    Please help - I can not figure it out and I am going nuts.

    Thanks

    Dunno, but you can just do a Javascript one:

    <a href="javascript:history.back()">Back</a>

    just use the environmental variable:

    $referer=$HTTP_REFERER;

    That will store the previous page in $referer
