This is a simple one - I'll hint at the framework, but you gotta spend some time with the docs or a book to figure out how. This is real basic PHP stuff...
1) Make a HTML page with a form on it for the postcard's info (radio buttons to pick style, text box for message, text box for email destination, etc). Have this page's form's action point to a PHP page.
2) Make the PHP page that is called from the page in step 1. The name of each form element created in step #1 will now magically be a PHP variable.
Use some if/then statements and string functions to create the postcard based on the info given on form by user.
Use mail() function to send the finished postcard.

I apologise if it's all basic knowledge but
I have done all that.

So is it working? Or is there a particular problem you're still having?

Thanks for the hints!
One question about pointing to the web page: Is it possible to get php3 to generate and store a web page/postcard in a specific directory and then the next time look to see what the last page name stored was while at the same time sending an email to the postcard recipient with the address to that page in the body? and continue generating pages by ordered names? Obviously I'm keeping within the vain of doing this without a database, but I think I've got mysql down well enuf that I could use that too if necessary.
