I am using PHP to process a form that enquires on a LDAP database, and retrieves information depending upon the parameters input.
This form more or less works.
But I don't know how to pass the information back to the requester in a form.
Currently the data is passed back only in text.

I apologise for my ignorance, but my programming skills are minimal.

Can anyone tell me where I can find out how to do this.

Thanks in advance

Tony

http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/ has some really good tutorials on PHP although mainly with MySQL as the backend - but looking through these should help you out a lot, but in brief, you basically create a form with the values returned from your query ie:

<input type="text" name="MyVar" value="<?php echo $MyVar;?>">,
to fill a select from a returned array you can use a loop ie:

<select name="ThisVar">
<?php for($x=0;$x <= $varcount;$x++) { ?>
<option value="<?php echo $x;?>><?php echo $var[$x];?>
<?php } ?>
</select>

You can also check radios or checkboxes using if() etc.

Hope it helps.

Simon.
