Newbie question: When I post an HTML form to a PHP script, none of the form variables contain data. Also, none of the global environemnt variables contain data. Parameters passed as part of the URL echo to the screen correctly though. What's the problem here?
I'm running on a virtual server, so changes to php.ini or recompilation of php is probably not an option my host is going to appreciate.

Post your code (both pages) so we can see where the problem might be. Usually when I run into a problem like this its a typo or a minor syntax problem.

Thanks for your help, but I've sussed it. I did an environment variable dump using CGI and found that the server is configured strangely, e.g. HTTP_COOKIE_VARS are known as HTTP_COOKIE, and other wierd stuff. Anyway, I managed to translate it all and can now see my posted variables as well as global variables. Thanks again.
