    HTTP_REFERER not populated for IE7

    I'm a PHP newbie.
I've got a tracking script that records page visits and one of the things I record is $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'].
Safari on Linux and FF on Windows both populate this value.
    But, IE7 doesn't.
    Any ideas why?

Because Microsoft decided not to do it. 'HTTP_REFERER' is an unreliable value as it is user agent dependent.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
