Sorry, I know this is a ridiculous question. (basic) I have a page where I have done a successful query and get search results displayed. Now I would like a link activated so that they can click on the name and go to new page with further details about that company like address hours etc. Thanks in advance.

something like this should do the trick, this is part of the result line from a search query I wrote for looking up users in db

<a href="verify.php3?ID=".$selectrow["6"]."&user=".$selectrow["1"]."&mail=".$selectrow["5"].""><font face="arial" color="#ffffff" size="2">".$selectrow["1"]."</a>

then do a select stmt using any of the variables you sent to it as your reference to pull more info from the db (I'm making wild assumptions that u r using MySQL with this )

hope that (sort of) helps...

cheers
