I really do not want to put images in my database, but I want to be able to have a script where users can upload an image, and it will be stored in a database (the file name, name of owner, and the trick performed). Then it will be placed in a gallery. Please, any help wanted. Thanks.

If you can manage the upload of files okay. you can get the name of the file by access the $userfile_name variable, where username is what you have named your file field in your form. Then you could store the image name in your db and then when querying your db you will know where the images are stored and you can print the path plus the database field?
