    Hi

    i am trying to fetch a web page and possibly change the look of it i know how to do this in Perl using LWP::Simple module , is there a way of doing a similar thing in PHP ??

    You can use the fopen() function to open a file on a remote host. Just use the usual URL syntax as an argument to fopen(). From that point onward, I really cannot help you much. I guess you could take out the page by using regexps, but that is definitely not "the way". Anyway, if you already have that script in Perl, why not just call it with a system() call and take the output and then just display it??
