    Hello,
    My script is <? $MyLink='<a href="mailto:<? echo $Email;?>">'.$Email."</a>"; ?>
    This is then saved to a file (txt) and the data inside the file is:
    <a href="mailto:<? echo $Email; ?>">pjlewis@goldweb.com.au</a>
    So when I click on the mailto: link the status bar reads:- mailto:<? echo $Email ?> and
    the mailer opens with no address :-(.
    Any and all suggestions appreciated.

    With my kind regards,
    Peter.

    The problem is that you have <? ... <? ... ?>...?> Why are you doing that?

    Try this:

    <? $MyLink='<a href="mailto:'.$Email.'">'.$Email."</a>"; ?>
