    One of my php file begins as follows :

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Untitled Document</title>

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--

    function MM_goToURL() { //v3.0
    var i, args=MM_goToURL.arguments; document.MM_returnValue = false;
    for (i=0; i<(args.length-1); i+=2) eval(args[i]+".location='"+args[i+1]+"'");
    }

    //-->
    </script>
    </head>
    <body>

    <?

    This exact code appears in other files with no problem, but in this particular file, the computer claims that a ")" is missing at the line of the <? .
    I can not figure out what the problem is... heeeelp...

    The error message appears on a pop up box, saying runtime error, so I assume it is not the php that generates it... I deleted everything before the <? and still the error occured. Maybe it is becauase of the file that calls it. Thank you !
