    Hello

    What I'm trying to do is connect to an mySQL database with a select statement from a form using a drop down menu with multiple choices and display the results.

    My question is...do I need a separate php script to do this from the html form, or can I do the whole thing from a single page?

    The statement I am trying to use is:

    select DATE_LAST_VISITED from WESTERN_WASHINGTON where date_last_visited >= DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE,INTERVAL 3 day);

    but the day interval will change according to what is selected in the drop down menu.

    To sum up: Can I connect to and query the database from within the form using slightly different select statements for each option and echo the output?

    Hope this made sense.

    Thanks.
