    hi,

is it possible to do something like an 'onchange' event in javascript using php.

i don't want to use javascript as some people disable it and i am setting up a validation form.

also, i am wanting to populate one box on the form based on what they enter in another box on the same form. is this possible to do before they submit the form?

    Thanks in advance.

No, it's not possible in that exact way. PHP is server side, once the page is sent to the client, you can't change it anymore without refreshing the page.

It's possible to do what you want, but they would have to pick the first value, then refresh the page and populate the second value.
