Hi - I was wondering if it is possible (and if anyone knows where I can get) a online/offline status indicator written in PHP/MySQL. The way I figure it would work is the user logs on - and then can see all other members that are currently logged on to the site and then from there perhaps send them an instant message. I know it's asking a lot - but hey my budget is small but it is a budget.

thanks in advance for any help or direction you all could offer.

    First of all to Wax:
What you mention is exactly what I have been aiming to do! :-) I don't know if you have seen it but GAMERS.COM has such a system implemented. It is totally awsome and really adds to the appeal of the site. Anyway it is done in ASP, so it should be very possible using PHP!

    Next, to Jimmy:
If its ok I'd love to know a bit more about your system... I'll send you an e-mail I think.

    Thanks!
