I seem to be having trouble submitting strings to mysql from a form when they contain quotes and appostrophies (sp?). If I escape them out with a slash in the form field they submit just fine. I have a feeling I should be handling this in whatever script I do the form processing on. Or is it that I don't have my fields declared properly in mysql?

use addslashes() on the data before inserting.
