I have just installed Apache 1.3 on my win98 machine so that I could run PHP in a windows environment.
Apache 1.3 installed OK, but when it came round to installing PHP4 nothing seemed to work. I have down loaded the php win bineries from PHP.net and followed all the php installation manuals that I can find.
What ever I do Apache just won't run or parse any php file.

    Can any one suggest anything?

A robust installation script would be good.

    Thanks

It will take you about two minutes to get Apache, PHP, MySQL and PHPMyAdmin working on your computer with PHPTriad.

    Use it.

It was damn Front page's fault.

PHP and Apache where working great. The test file that I created was called phptest.php.
Well thats what I though. The geeks @ Microsoft default to petting .html / .htm after all files in Front Page.

Muchus Annoying. Three hours I was playing around.

Any way enough bitching from me.

    Thnaks for the replies
