    Can php differentiate betwene ip and vpn ip what did I just say?

    Hi;

    I am blocking phuckers on membership site who buy $997 account and share it.

    Some claim they use 2 devices vpn bla bla.

    I made a simple system to email them auth link and unlock.

    Most say they use VPN.

    Can I somehow check if its true or they are full of lies?

    Thanks

    There is no reliable way to know this. Between VPN and NATing there is simply no way to know the difference. At best you might be able to determine a legitimate IP *IF* the user has a static IP.
    There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

    I'm afraid you can't really verify it. For example, I use VPN myself, and one VPN account allows me to use up to 5 different devices at the same time.

    I run VPN client on home outer, so all my connections from home will be marked as "the same" by your system. Then I also run VPN on 2 smartphones, and each phone has a different VPN profile (country) and browser. Hence, your system would identify me as 3 completely separate users, while I'm the same user in fact. I just use different VPN setups on each device.
