I was wondering if yanyone had any trouble with the mail() function while using IIS5/Win2K. It doesn't seem to want to work for me, I get an error: "Unable to connect to X:xxx.php on line y", where x is the pathname to the file on the server, and y is the line in the php code that contains the mail() function. All other php code seems to execute properly. I'm using IIS 5 SMTP service, and my php.ini states that my SMTP is 'localhost'. I've tried using the ip address as well as '127.0.0.1', but it all seems to give me the same error.

    I have php4.02 installed ISAPI.

    any suggestions?
