Need some help,I think I have everything installed properly, but when I try to run he PHP test script, the screen blips and doesn't do anything. I'm using Windwos98, Apache 1.3.12. Only using windows because I had a hell of a time with NT or an other OS. Does anyone have any suggestions? I Know that I am real close to getting this right. Oh, the script file is in the root directory.

First, make sure that all libraries you have are not corrupt. You can download PHP Win32 binaries in http://www.php.net

You need to install Ms. Personal Web Server in order to use PHP. All files you had downloaded from the web will work together with PWS.

After copying your files into a directory, you must create some entry in windows registry. You must tell Win98 to associate all .PHP and .PHP3 files with your PHP.EXE application

Make sure that all paths are written correctly, restart the windows, and your PHP script should work properly now.

1: Get on the windows list from php.net
Read their website on how to do that...

    2: Get Apache from www.apache.org
Install, and get it up and running correctly.

3: Get the php binaries from www.php4win.de
Install, and get it up and running with
apache correctly. Don't forget to read the
readme's... Read em and Read em again...

4: Get MySQL from www.mysql.com if you want.
    Install, etc.etc.etc...

If you run into troubles, ask on the mailing-
list. Be friendly, and you're bound to recieve
    at least 10 good replies... : )
