I am developing php-mysql solution for Intranet. I would like to encrypt php code so that it can not be modified at client end or can not be pampered by any person other than me. Is there any way to encrypt php files.
If you have got any better option, suggest me I will be very much thankful.

How about not giving others “rw” access to the directory in which your files are?
Then they cannot access the files.

Even if I give "rw" access to directory. Root user from Client will be having total access on the directory and therefore he can change the directory access. Some encryption to php code is required which is having only for valid encrypted signature. and signature should be with php developer.
If this encryption is available then php + mysql will be easiest and safe client server development platform.
