I am somewhat new to both php and mysql. Ive been using the mysql and php artciles from devshed as a starting point to learning both. I have everything setup correctly. I use the test submirt form from the php+mysql article for beginners to start learning them both. I did a plain copy and paste to make sure it worked. I tried them out to form entering blank entries into the database. for when I did teh show * tablename;(?) command to show the entered entries for first name and last name all I had there were blank spaces for each time I hit submit. To test the connection and the entry of the php script I put i static values for $first_name and $last_name. This time I did get values in my table. Something isn't right because the values associated with the variables aren't passing from one page to the next and Im not familiar enough with forms to know whats wrong. I did a plain copy paste from the article.
