Is is best to use PHP or Perl. I was kinda leaning on both. Please help.

Most applications can be developed just fine using PHP. Perl is a more powerful tool than PHP but that doesn't mean it's the better tool. Compare a sledge hammer (Perl) to a claw hammer (PHP). I wouldn't want to try to knock down a retaining wall with a claw hammer, but I sure wouldn't want to drive a nail with a sledge hammer.
PHP is nimbler, easier and quicker both to learn and implement. If you're a contractor and your client hasn't specified which language to use than use PHP where you can (almost everywhere) and Perl where you need to (maybe nowhere).

That is upto you which program you prefer to do this work.Since you are in a learning stage,i would suggest you to do that in php.Php would be very easy for you.

I ment leaning on using both, not learning both. I have done many other projects. Anyhow, thanks for the advice.
