Hi,

I personally think PHP is going to really take off this year, but at the moment I can't see any sign of a decent Resource Site for it. I am considering setting a user-controlled PHP Resources (similar to cgi-resources.com) site, where users can add their code and search for others.

Anyone second the idea?

Will

There is one "PHP Exchange" at the moment, but to me it seems pretty useless. So, if anyone thinks it's a good idea, tell me - I will then set it up asap.

Devshed is an awesome site and it is currently my favourite for php resources. But...i think users need more. You obviously are very good at running this type of site so i think you should make up a new site with a seperate domain name which specialises on PHP and MySQL only.

I would really like to implement DevShed.com's open source for a portal website project but as good as the source is provided, the database schema is not provided, much less any comments about putting the site together. Database schema and Comments are very useful for a person who is not really a programmer but just smart and persevering enough. Php and MySQl really works. If only.

email me if you have anything.

While it covers all manner of scripting.
I think hotscripts.com is an excellent resource for PHP scripts/applications.
