When I run phpinfo() and it displays it's information, it says PHP 3.0 at the top. Does this mean it's the original release and that there is no minor version number. If not, how can I see the exact version of PHP3 that is running on my service providers machine. I know it's not recent because str_replace() is not supported, and I have the rand() bug in the version on their server.

I'm running PHP 3.0.9, and at the top of my phpinfo() page, it lists both major and minor version.

I suspect you are running the original 3.0.
